Nearly 900 OFW's Have Been Repatriated From Kuwait

Nearly 900 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have been repatriated to the country since May of the current year. This is amid ongoing efforts by the Philippine and Kuwaiti governments to address issues concerning policies for migrant workers. According to DMW Undersecretary Hans Cacdac, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) continues to monitor the situation of Filipino workers in Kuwait. The official also expresses hope for the further expansion of bilateral labor relations between the two countries. If you recall, in the month of May, the Kuwaiti government suspended all new visas for OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) due to reported violations by the Philippines of their bilateral labor agreement signed in 2018. Among these violations was the establishment of shelters for Filipino workers who escaped from their abusive employers

Prigozhin’s exile in Belarus had been announced by the Kremlin earlier as part of the deal that ended the rebellion. Lukashenko on Tuesday said Prigozhin has moved to Belarus and he and some of his troops would be welcome to stay in the country “for some time” at their own expense.

YouTuber MrBeast Declined the Offered to Ride the Titan Submersible

YouTube star MrBeast shared that he was invited to join a submersible trip to the Titanic, but he declined the offer. He mentioned on his social media that he got scared and turned down the said invitation. However, he didn't mention who extended the offer to him to participate in the expedition.He also added that in the coming months, he will be visiting the sunken Titanic aboard a submarine. MrBeast is considered to have the most subscribers, reaching over 162 million, where his channel features stunts, competitions, and philanthropic efforts.
